Synopsis of El mercenario de Granada
En el año 1487, el reino de Granada se encuentra en una situación crítica. Tras la conquista de Córdoba, los ejércitos cristianos, liderados por el rey Fernando, mantienen un asedio prolongado a las afueras de Málaga, buscando debilitar las defensas árabes y tomar el control de Al-Ándalus. Granada, el último bastión moro en Europa, se enfrenta a un futuro incierto. Ante la superioridad de Fernando y la inminente caída, el embajador de Granada, Mohamed Ibn Hasin, junto a su leal criado Jándula, emprenden un viaje a Estambul, buscando la ayuda de sus aliados turcos. Sin embargo, el sultán les ofrece un único aliado: Orbán, un herrero búlgaro. Este hombre deberá enfrentarse a los ejércitos cristianos, en una batalla donde Granada parece destinada a la derrota.
