«El meu germà el geni» is the children's novel by Rodrigo Muñoz Avia, published by edebé in paperback (184 pages, in Catalan).
Lola is ten years old and convinced that the world is divided into geniuses and everyone else; her mother places her brother among the former and her among the latter. From that idea, the narrative follows her daily life and her way of understanding herself in the family, between soccer, admiration for her brother and the search for her own place.
Eighth volume in the Tucan Verd collection, published in 2010 and winner of the Edebé Prize for Children's Literature.
Recommended reading for readers aged 10 and up.
