«El meu primer llibre de contes» is a children's storybook by Steve Smallman and Janet Samuel, published by Estrella Polar in hardcover, in Catalan.
The book brings together short stories featuring toys with proper names: little bear Petit Ted, the train Xiulet, the elephant Trombó and other friends. They are simple stories in which play and toys are the center of the action and fun.
It belongs to the Llibres molt especials collection. It has 18 pages and its original title is A Hop for Little Bunny and other Toy Tales. First edition in March 2010.
Aimed at babies and children from 0 to 36 months, it is a good starting point for first readings in Catalan.
