«El meu riu» is an illustrated children's picture book by Marianne Dubuc, published by Baula in hardcover (26 pages, in Catalan).
A character sails a boat along the river and discovers the life hidden in the water and on the bank: aquatic plants, lotus flowers, fish and other animals. The watercolor illustrations and pages with flaps turn each double page into a little game of observation.
It belongs to the Petits Amagatalls collection. The cover states «Amb solapes!», so it includes flaps. Published in Catalan in 2022.
Aimed at early readers: the hardcover format and flaps make it suitable for small hands and for shared reading.
Marianne Dubuc is a Canadian writer and illustrator of children's books living in Quebec.
