In 1885, Abbot Bérenger Saunière arrives in Rennes-le-Château, a poor parish in the Upper Languedoc, a land of legends and ancient heresies. While renovating the church, he finds an ark with documents that change his life and make him a hunted man.
The back cover includes a quote from Javier Sierra highlighting the role of the Priory of Sion compared to what is narrated in The Da Vinci Code.
