«El monstruo peludo» is the children's fantasy tale by Henriette Bichonnier, published by Editorial Luis Vives (Edelvives) in paperback (38 pages, in Spanish).
A hairy monster, tired of eating mice, decides to try his luck with humans. His first victim is a king, who convinces him that a child will be a more tender morsel. The monarch agrees to return with the first little one he finds, but the first person he comes across is his own daughter, a not-so-docile princess who will complicate the monster's plans.
It belongs to the Ala Delta collection - Red series, number 11. The edition includes the original illustrations by Pef and the translation by Juan Ramón Azaola Espina.
Recommended for early readers aged 5 and up, with a fun story and a touch of mischief that engages children.
