«El mur» is a children's picture book by Javier García Sobrino with illustrations by Nathalie Novi, published by Editorial Juventud in hardcover.
In the savannah, two groups of elephants live together, some with small ears and others with large ears. When drought reduces food in the Okavango valley, the small-eared ones build a wall to protect their territory, and the decision ends up harming the whole savannah, including themselves. A fable about borders, prejudice and coexistence.
The story is Javier García Sobrino's homage to David McKee and his book Tusk Tusk; on the cover of this edition the title appears as «El muro».
A book intended for young readers and for addressing coexistence and prejudice at home or in the classroom.
