«El naixement de la Petitona» is a children's picture book by Roser Rius Camps, published by Cruïlla in paperback (32 pages, in Catalan).
Petitona sees that her dog Tuca is expecting puppies and asks her mother where she came from. Her mother explains that she and her father loved each other very much, wanted to have a child, and made love; so Petitona entered her belly, grew little by little, and when she was born, she nursed just like Tuca's puppies.
It belongs to the «La petitona» collection, supporting the curricular areas of Early Childhood Education. Roser Rius Camps is also the illustrator. It corresponds to the 4th edition.
Recommended for children aged 3 to 5; also useful for families and educators who want to explain the origin of babies naturally.
