«El nuevo cole de Yinyu» is the children's picture book by Lim Yeong-hee, published by Editorial Luis Vives (Edelvives) in hardcover (32 pages, in Spanish).
Yinyu has just moved from Korea and is starting a new school. The simplest gestures, like saying hello, giving a kiss, or pronouncing new words, seem difficult to her. Little by little, the classmates who welcome her make her feel included and turn the classroom into a familiar place.
Volume 7 of the Lee y escucha collection; with illustrations by Amélie Graux and includes a CD.
Aimed at early readers starting school; addresses adapting to a new environment and the value of welcoming.
