«El olivo» is a children's story by Fátima de la Jara Ayala, published by Editorial Luis Vives (Edelvives) in paperback, with 25 pages, in Spanish.
The story relies on pictograms: the drawings take the place of some words in the narrative, making reading easier for the youngest. The cover shows three olive trees with human faces under a rainbow, one of them wearing a tartan scarf and holding an olive.
Published in 2000, it belongs to the «Mucha madera» collection and is illustrated by Gerardo Domínguez.
Aimed at early readers, especially those starting to read with visual support.
