«El petit elefant blanc» is the children's story by Emma Schmid, published by Edicions Baula in paperback (38 pages, in Catalan).
A small white elephant is sad because he thinks he has nothing special and wishes to be like the fantastic animals he has met. With tenderness and humor, the story conveys that there is no need to imitate anyone: everyone is different, unique, and fantastic in their own way.
Volume 50 of the Capsa de contes collection. Emma Schmid also does the illustrations. Published on February 9, 2018; recommended reading from age 5.
Aimed at early readers from age 5, especially for talking about self-esteem and accepting differences.
