«El pirata Malapota» is the picture book by Margarita de Mazo and Raúl Nieto Guridi, published by Ediciones Jaguar in hardcover (32 pages, in Catalan).
Malapota is a pirate for whom everything goes wrong: whatever he does, it always ends up twisted. Rude, capricious and selfish, he doesn't know how to get along or share. In this adventure, an impertinent parrot, a hundred ships and an unexpected ending show how good company can change the unfortunate captain.
It belongs to the Miau collection and is aimed at readers aged 3 to 6.
Designed for reading aloud: the humor and illustrations also work for the adults who accompany the reading.
