«El polo» is a children's book by Teresa Soler Cobo, published by Algar in paperback (16 pages, in Spanish), number 1 of Mis Primeros Calcetines.
The book presents an everyday scene in which a girl and an adult look at an ice-cream poster, with the title «El polo» as the thread. Aimed at early readers, it works on recognition of vowels and the letters P and L through very short sentences supported by illustrations.
First title in the Mis Primeros Calcetines collection, with illustrations by Armand. Published in 2005 by Algar Editorial, it is intended as reading-initiation material.
Aimed at children aged 5 to 7 who are starting to read, with cursive writing and very short sentences, it serves as support material in early childhood education.
