«El pop d'en Jan» is a children's story by Jaume Copons Ramon, illustrated by Bernadette Cuixart, published by Editorial Onda, in paperback, 16 pages, in Catalan.
On the cover, Jan and another child play in a meadow with a white dog and a smiling purple character; the illustration presents a close-up scene for early readers. The story is designed for an adult to do a first shared reading, comment on the images and help the child anticipate what will happen before reading.
It is the second title in the Tot llegint collection; the back cover indicates that this story works on the consonants m and p, within a progression of 14 titles.
Recommended for children aged 4 to 6 who are starting to read in Catalan, at home or at school, with the accompaniment of an adult.
