«El recluso» is a psychological thriller by Freida McFadden, published by SUMA in paperback (328 pages, in Spanish).
Brooke Sullivan, a nurse at a maximum-security prison, learns three rules: respect the inmates, don't share personal details, and don't get close to them. She has already broken them: she knows Shane Nelson, a dangerous inmate, her high-school boyfriend and football star, sentenced to life for crimes. Her testimony put him away, and Shane hasn't forgotten.
Original title: The Inmate. Translation by Santiago del Rey Farrés. Published in Spanish on January 16, 2025.
