«El retorno del Paladín» is the historical novel by Antonio Sarabia, published by EDB Ficción in paperback (336 pages, in Spanish).
The work interweaves two parallel stories: that of a French knight expelled from the court of Philip the Fair who seeks refuge in Muslim Granada, where he discovers a refined culture and ends up fighting against the nobles of Castile, and that of a novice writer in Paris who gradually conceives this narrative, spurred by his passion for swashbuckling novels but discouraged by the difficulties of the undertaking.
The book belongs to the Ficcionario collection and was published on April 27, 2005. The original title of the manuscript from which it derives, Banda de Moebius, appears as a subtitle in this edition.
Recommended for readers of historical and adventure fiction, as well as for those who enjoy stories about the creative process of writing.
