«El tambor del Bruc» is the children's legend adapted by Mitus Stampa, published by La Galera in hardcover (25 pages, in Spanish).
In 1808, French troops enter Catalonia and a brave, sharp-witted boy decides to stand up to them. This legend, based on historical narrative, recovers the episode that gives the book its title and brings a past event closer to early readers.
Published in 1999, this work is number 50 in the Popular collection and features illustrations by Jordi Vila Delclòs.
Recommended for child readers aged 6 to 8 who want to approach history through an illustrated legend.
