«El tapiz del vampiro» is the horror novel by Suzy McKee Charnas, published by Alamut in paperback (256 pages, in Spanish).
Beneath the respectable facade of Dr. Weyland, a professor at a New England university, hides a vampire who has survived for centuries concealed in society. His work as an anthropology professor is ironic, as he studies the very species he feeds on. The novel explores this predator's struggle to preserve his identity and way of life.
Volume 15 of the Alamut Fantasy Series collection. Translation by Albert Solé of the English original 'The Vampire Tapestry'. Published in 2009.
For horror and fantasy readers interested in a vampire story with an academic background.
