«El templo del rey Salomón» is the historical novel by Christian Jacq, published by Martínez Roca in paperback (298 pages, in Spanish).
Set in 980 BC, it tells of King Solomon's determination to erect in Jerusalem a temple to house the Ark of the Covenant and rival the pyramids of Egypt.
