«El temps i els Conway» is the play by J. B. Priestley, published by Generalitat de Catalunya in paperback (163 pages, in Catalan).
The action begins in 1919, during the birthday party of Kay, one of the Conway daughters, a well-to-do Yorkshire family. Through stage devices that play with time, the play follows the Conways over the years and shows how their interwar hopes and ambitions fade without being fulfilled.
Originally published as «Time and the Conways» in 1937. This Catalan edition features a translation by Joan Sellent and a prologue by Teresa Rosell Nicolás.
For those who enjoy classic British theatre, especially readers interested in the work of J. B. Priestley in Catalan.
