After the death of Cosme, patriarch and owner of a factory, his family gathers and reads the letter he left them alongside his will. In those pages, the voice of a man who always remained silent is finally heard, and as he reveals a family secret, he surrenders to tenderness. A concentrated and violent love story.
Work originally written in Catalan under the title «El testament»; the Spanish translation is by Blai Bonet. It belongs to the Autores Españoles e Hispanoamericanos collection.
For readers interested in twentieth-century Catalan narrative and in intimate novels about family secrets and tensions.
