Leonid Sednev, imperial chimney sweep and kitchen assistant, is fifteen in 1918, when the Romanov family is murdered and only he survives as an invisible witness. Now elderly, he reconstructs his memories and evokes, from the perspective of the palace staff, the last years of the Russian Empire: tsars and Bolsheviks, luxury and misery.
It belongs to the Autores Españoles e Iberoamericanos collection. It was published in Barcelona on January 22, 2013.
A work for readers of historical fiction interested in the Russia of the tsars and the fate of the Romanov family.
