El tiempo de las moscas

Synopsis of El tiempo de las moscas

In 'El tiempo de las moscas', Claudia Piñeiro revisits the story of Inés, the protagonist of 'Tuya', who after fifteen years in prison for murdering her ex-husband's lover, faces a society transformed by feminism and new laws. Inés partners with her prison friend, la Manca, to create a fumigation and private investigation company. Together, like a modern version of Thelma and Louise, they adapt to their new reality until a client, Mrs. Bonar, makes them a proposal that could change their lives, but also bring dangers from the past. This novel explores themes of friendship, courage, and the complexity of today's society, with Piñeiro's characteristic intelligent and insightful style.
