«El triomf d'en Polit Bonaveu» is the humorous children's novel by Carles Sala i Vila, published by Cruïlla in paperback, in Catalan (112 pages).
Polit Bonaveu, an ordinary man with a peaceful life, has a gift: he sings extraordinarily in the shower. When the promoters Tucanta & Jocobro hear him by chance, they decide to turn him into La Veu Prodigiosa, but the road to success will hide more than one setback.
It belongs to the El Vaixell de Vapor collection (no. 172) and won the Premi El Vaixell de Vapor 2009. It includes illustrations by Susana del Baño.
Aimed at readers aged 7 to 10, especially those who enjoy humorous stories about music and fame.
