«El último pirata» is the young-adult adventure novel by Juan Pedro Delgado Espada, published by Ediciones Palabra in paperback (176 pages, in Spanish).
Young Peter Scott awaits his execution in prison alongside other men accused of piracy. Although he insists he is not a pirate and asks for a fair trial, there will be no proceedings: his fate is the gallows. Hidden among his clothes is a notebook in which he tells his story, and that narrative becomes an adventure of hope in the face of adversity.
Published in March 2015, it is the first edition and belongs to the Astor Jr. collection.
For young readers aged 12 and up interested in pirate adventures and action.
