«El último refugio» is the science fiction and zombie novel by Alejandro Castro Guerrero, published by Almuzara in paperback (392 pages, in Spanish).
After the Double Death War, survivors take refuge in camps across Spain. One group holds out in the Sierra de Montserrat; another has barricaded itself in Finisterre and hides a secret; in devastated Seville, Judith and Jonás seek a place to die with dignity. All try to resist the push of the Hungry.
Second installment of the saga «La Guerra de la Doble Muerte», continuing the 2010 novel of the same name. Belongs to Almuzara's Narrativas collection.
For readers of science fiction and zombies; the nods to Max Brooks bring it close to fans of World War Z.
