Synopsis of El U.V.A. (Ultraloca Velocidad Automotora) (Olé! Mortadelo 167)

Mortadelo and Filemón face a new mission in number 167 of the «Olé Mortadelo» collection. This time, they must discover who is behind the sabotage that seeks to thwart the UVA (Ultraloca Velocidad Automotora), the ambitious high-speed train project. The T.I.A. entrusts them to investigate the problems that occurred in Spain during the construction of the new section of the AVE that linked Madrid with Lérida in 2000. In this comic, Ibáñez caricatures the former president of the government José María Aznar, as well as the Minister of Development Francisco Álvarez Cascos.
