In «El vencedor está solo», the Cannes Film Festival becomes the setting for a critique of the world of fame and appearances. The original Portuguese is titled «O vencedor está só» and appeared in 2008; the Spanish edition is from 2009.
A book recommended for readers of contemporary fiction who appreciate social criticism wrapped in thriller pacing.
