El verano eterno

Synopsis of El verano eterno

In a German spa town suffocated by a burning forest and a toxic atmosphere, Iris Lehmann lives in isolation in her hotel until the arrival of Dori and her daughter Ilya breaks her routine. What begins as a refuge from an ecological apocalypse turns into a tense psychological thriller when Iris discovers that her guests are fleeing a much more insidious threat: a man who, under a facade of politeness, attempts to manipulate his family's reality. This novel by Franziska Gänsler masterfully explores invisible abuse and the questioning of one's own sanity in a hostile environment.
