«El viento en los sauces» is the children's novel by Kenneth Grahame, published by Valdemar in paperback (320 pages, in Spanish).
The story takes place by the river, where Mole, Rat and Badger share a peaceful life until Toad's extravagances drag them into all kinds of adventures. Between the Wild Wood and the Wide World, the four friends live adventures full of humor and lyricism, in a tale that mixes the everyday with the marvelous.
It belongs to the El Club Diógenes collection (no. 261) and commemorates the centenary of the work, originally from 1908, with illustrations by Ernest H. Shepard and Arthur Rackham.
A work that can be enjoyed by both young readers and adults, as it combines children's adventure with a perspective close to the older reader.

Kenneth Grahame was a Scottish writer. He is best remembered for the classic of children's literature The Wind in the Willows (1908). Born in Scotland, he spent most of his childhood with his grandmother in England, following the death of his mother and his father's inability to look after the children. After attending St Edward's School in Oxford, his ambition to attend university was thwarted and he joined the Bank of England, where he had a successful career. Before writing The Wind in the Willows, he published three other books: Pagan Papers (1893), The Golden Age (1895), and Dream Days (1898).
