«Electro» is the young adult science fiction and adventure novel by Javier Ruescas and Manu Carbajo, published by Edebé in paperback (320 pages, in Spanish).
Ray, a young man from Origen who longs to go to university, wakes up in an unrecognizable world: his town is empty and humans are no longer the dominant species. To survive, he allies with Eden, a battle-hardened fugitive whose heart beats thanks to external energy. Guided by a mysterious diary, they embark on a journey in search of answers, though perhaps it is better not to unearth some secrets.
It is the first installment of the Electro saga.
Recommended for readers aged 14 and up, especially those who enjoy dystopian science fiction.
