«Ella» is the young adult novel by Gregorio Morales Villena, published by Epígono-De Cervantes Ediciones, S.L. in paperback (121 pages, in Spanish).
A novel that can be started by reading either «Ella» or «Él», depending on the reader. Through the adventures of Silvia and David, it reflects on the feminine and the masculine and questions gender stereotypes. The enigmas raised in one part are resolved in the other, so the two readings complement each other and symbolically underline the need for collaboration between the sexes.
Published in 1999, it is part of the Magenta Collection of Ediciones Epígono. The edition brings together the two readings of the story in a single volume: «Ella» and «Él».
Aimed at a young adult audience, especially those looking for novels that invite reflection on identity and gender stereotypes.
