«Elle n'était pas d'ici» is the account by Patrick Poivre d'Arvor published by LGF in paperback (122 pages, in French).
Patrick Poivre d'Arvor evokes his grief for his daughter Solenn, who died in January 1995, drawing on notes taken on train journeys and in the rare moments of inactivity of a man who took refuge in work to avoid suffering. The preface by Véronique Poivre d'Arvor expresses the hope that this testimony will help those living with anorexia or bulimia.
The work originally appeared in 1995; this edition was published in May 1997 and belongs to the Le Livre de Poche imprint. The cover reproduces a photograph of a woman seen from behind on a beach.
