«Eloise: A Book for Precocious Grown Ups» is the children's classic by Kay Thompson, published by Simon & Schuster in hardcover and in English.
Eloise is a girl who lives at the Plaza Hotel in New York and turns its hallways and lounges into a playground. With a witty nature and boundless imagination, her escapades and comments about the guests form a humorous illustrated tale by Hilary Knight that has amused children and adults.
First installment in the Eloise series. This 1969 edition, published by Simon & Schuster, corresponds to the full title Eloise: A Book for Precocious Grown Ups.
Although it is categorized as children's reading for ages 4 to 8, its irony also connects with adult readers.
