«Eloise's Summer Vacation» is a children's book by Lisa McClatchy, based on the character created by Kay Thompson, published by Simon Spotlight in 2007 (paperback, 32 pages, in English).
Eloise, her dog Weenie and her nanny Nanny go on a road trip across the United States. The trip includes stops at iconic landmarks like Niagara Falls, Mount Rushmore and the Golden Gate Bridge; the illustrations, based on the art of Hilary Knight, show the landscapes and the girl's funny situations.
It belongs to the «Kay Thompson's Eloise» series and is designed as a level 1 reader in the Ready-to-Read collection, meant for children starting to read.
Recommended for early readers and for children who already know Eloise's adventures.
