«Els contes de l'ordinador» is the collection of children's stories by Maria Grau Saló and Xavier Cussó Grau, published by Edicions del Pirata in hardcover (120 pages, in Catalan).
The book presents a collection of tales featuring the users of a cultural center who are encouraged to write stories after a competition is announced. The Toshiba computer, which works in the computer room, acts as a common thread and brings together the stories it has liked most. Among them are sentimental narratives such as «Només ho sap la lluna» or «L'últim Nadal» and others that are absurd, such as «Quiquirríquia, osmòtica, ruscombòlia» or «El misteri del suc de tomàquet».
It belongs to the El Pirata Verd collection (number 22). The back cover indicates an approximate reading age of 10 and up.
Recommended for boys and girls aged 10 and over who are starting to read on their own and enjoy short, humorous or moving stories, especially if they are looking for reading material in Catalan.
