«Els dos aniversaris de l'Estrela» is the children's story by Javier Esparcia and M. José Estrela, published by La Galera in paperback (24 pages, in Catalan).
The story tells how Estrela, an adopted girl, celebrates two anniversaries: the day she was born and the day she joined her family. Her siblings don't understand, and her parents explain it patiently. Designed for early readers, it uses linked script and simple language.
It is number 20 in the Cues de Sirena collection, with illustrations by Rosa Sández. Recommended reading age: 6 years.
Suitable for 6-year-olds starting to read alone and for families who want to talk about adoption.
