«Els tres porquets» is the children's pop-up story by Meritxell Martí Orriols, published by Combel Editorial in hardcover (10 pages, in Catalan).
A modern, concise version of the classic tale of the three little pigs, with five pop-up scenes that recreate the story like a little theatre: the wolf blows down the houses of straw and wood, and the pigs find refuge in the sturdy house. The rhyming Catalan text accompanies each three-dimensional scene.
Part of the Mini Pops collection. 2014 edition with illustrations and paper engineering by Xavier Salomó. Warning: not recommended for children under 3 years due to small parts.
Aimed at early readers and children from 3 years old, as well as families who want to share a staged version of a folk tale.
