«Elvis, Elvis!» is the young adult novel by Maria Gripe, published by Alfaguara in paperback (176 pages, in Spanish).
Elvis Karlsson does not want to become an obedient student: school feels empty to him and he hates singing classes. His mother compares him to Elvis Presley, which he rejects; only his grandfather takes his questions seriously. The novel narrates his determination to be himself and his return to school, where he meets Annarosa.
Second installment of the «Elvis» series by Maria Gripe; work originally published in 1973.
