«Em dic... Mozart» is the illustrated children's biography by Meritxell Martí and Xavier Salomó, published by Parramón in hardcover (64 pages, in Catalan).
The book presents Mozart's life in the first person: from age six to ten he toured Europe giving concerts with his sister Nannerl, astonishing everyone with his prodigy talent, until becoming one of the great European composers. The illustrations and the close tone complete this approach to his figure.
The book belongs to the Em dic... collection, winner of the Premi Crítica Serra d'Or Juvenil de Coneixements 2005, and is recommended for ages 9 and up.
For young readers curious about classical music and biographies of great historical figures.
