«En caure la tarda» is the contemporary fiction novel by Jordi Coca, published by Edicions 62 in hardcover (224 pages, in Catalan).
During a rainy night, Miquel Gironès, a 64-year-old man who has lived alone since his wife's death, feels estranged from the world around him. His memories of the past as a commercial intermediary and of the people who marked his life mix with a disenchanted gaze. The novel explores identity, memory and authenticity.
It belongs to the El Balancí collection. In 2013 it received the Premi de la Crítica de Narrativa Catalana.
For readers of literary and contemporary fiction interested in intimate stories about memory, solitude and identity.
