«En la plaza quieta» is Antonio Núñez Torrescusa's children's poetry book, published in paperback by Ediciones de la Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha.
A children's poetry book that recreates a square as a space for encounter and contemplation. Its verses, in a color-illustrated edition, invite readers to pause at fountains, pigeons, and domed buildings, and Beatriz Torres's illustrations accompany the reading of the youngest.
Work in Spanish of 46 pages, published in 2011. It is number 108 of the Coediciones series and belongs to the Luna de Aire collection; it won the eighth Luna de Aire children's poetry contest of CEPLI in 2010.
Aimed at children and young readers who are beginning with poetry; its brief length and illustrations make it accessible for early readers.
