«Enigmas y despedidas» is the poetry collection by Juan Luis Panero, published by Tusquets Editores S.A. in paperback (72 pages, in Spanish).
A poetry collection about the passage of time and memory: recollection rescues places, characters and objects that, from melancholy, become premonitory and reveal the omnipresence of death. It is divided into «Humo al atardecer», «El destino y los sueños» and «Documentos de la melancolía», around the enigmas of what has been lived and the farewells before the end.
First edition published in 1999 in Barcelona. It is part of the Marginales collection, number 173, within Nuevos Textos Sagrados.
Recommended for lovers of poetry in Spanish, especially for those who follow the work of Juan Luis Panero.
