«E.R.» is a play by Josep Maria Benet i Jornet, published by labutxaca in paperback (112 pages, in Catalan).
A young aspiring actress, about to make her debut, interviews three divas of the theater: Glòria, an international figure; Assumpta, a television star; and Maria, a dubbing director. Their memories show her the glories and miseries of the profession and turn the theater into a metaphor for life.
The play was originally published in 1995; the 2012 Catalan edition is part of the Labutxaca collection.
For those interested in theater and in fictions about the world of acting.
