«Era ieri» is a memoir by Enzo Biagi, published by Rizzoli in 2005 in hardcover (304 pages, in Italian).
The book reconstructs the history of «Il Fatto», a current-affairs program created and presented by Biagi on RAI, and the reasons for its cancellation after Berlusconi's so-called «editto bulgaro». It includes memories, reflections and interviews with figures such as Agnelli, Prodi, Gorbachev or Benigni, many published here for the first time.
First edition published in Milan, edited by Loris Mazzetti, director and executive at RAI; includes an index.
For readers interested in Italian journalism, the history of RAI and the tensions between information and political power in Berlusconi's Italy.
Enzo Biagi was an Italian journalist, writer and former partisan.
