«Erebos» is the young adult novel by Úrsula Poznanski, published by Estrella Polar in paperback, with 416 pages, in Spanish.
Erebos is a mysterious computer game that spreads secretly among students. Its rules forbid talking about it and require passing increasingly difficult tests. The game knows each player's fears and desires and punishes those who abandon it. When some players receive tasks that cross the screen, the boundary between game and reality blurs.
The book belongs to the L'illa del temps collection (no. 75) and won the German Young Adult Literature Prize.
Recommended for readers aged 11 and up, especially those interested in video games and young adult thrillers.
Ursula Poznanski is an Austrian writer. She won the Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis, Jugendjury prize in 2011 for her thriller novel Erebos, which has been translated into 22 languages.
