«Erraldoi errena» is the literary essay by Fernando Morillo Grande, published by Alberdania in 2000 in paperback (96 pages, in Basque).
The narrator meets a character in a tavern who turns out to be Science, whom he knew only by name and reputation. Once his fear is overcome, he sits with her and engages with her in depth for hours and days. It is a small fiction about science, not a scientific novel, reminiscent of Sophie's World, combining anecdotes, popularization, and reflections on poetry and knowledge.
It belongs to the Zerberri collection, number 18. First edition, with illustrations by Antton Olariaga.
For readers interested in scientific popularization with a literary approach, especially those who read in Basque.
