«Escarabats» is the crime novel by Jo Nesbø published by Proa in paperback, 464 pages, in Catalan.
Inspector Harry Hole travels to Bangkok when the Norwegian ambassador is found dead in a brothel. What seemed like an isolated crime hides a plot no one wants to uncover: between prostitution, expatriates and opium, the Norwegian government prefers to avoid a scandal rather than solve the murder.
Second installment in the Harry Hole series; Catalan edition from 2015, translated by Meritxell Salvany Balada. The Norwegian original, «Kakerlakkene», was published in 1998.
For readers of Nordic crime fiction who want to follow the series featuring detective Harry Hole.
