«Escupiré sobre vuestra tumba» is the crime novel by Boris Vian published by Planeta in 1986 in paperback (160 pages, in Spanish).
Lee Anderson is a Black man who pretends to be white upon arriving in a small town in the southern United States. His presence triggers a chain of violence and tragedy; the work is a ferocious attack on racism and a literary provocation that plays with the codes of American crime fiction.
First installment of the Vernon Sullivan series, Boris Vian's pseudonym; originally published in 1946. This edition is no. 79 of the Best Seller Serie Negra collection.
For crime fiction readers seeking a provocative work with a social backdrop.
Boris Vian was a French polymath who is primarily remembered for his novels. Those published under the pseudonym Vernon Sullivan were bizarre parodies of criminal fiction, highly controversial at the time of their release owing to their unconventional outlook.
