«España y las Españas» is the historical essay by Luis González Antón, published by Alianza in paperback (816 pages, in Spanish).
The work studies the tension between the Spanish political community and its internal diversity, a common phenomenon in the great European states. For González Antón, the history of Spain and that of its regions can only be understood in the light of the West, and in it he offers a reasoned interpretation of the debate on the political-territorial structure.
It belongs to the El Libro de Bolsillo - Historia collection from Alianza and was published on June 29, 1998. It includes bibliographical references and an index.
Aimed at readers of historical essays, interested in the history of Spain and in the debate on its territorial organization.
